An interlude for results-oriented thinking...

I'm on day 3 of a notable multi-day downstreak. The mix of play has primarily consisted of $10/$20 online LHE 6max and $40/$80 live LHE full. There was also been some BP5/BP10 online LHE 6max and $20/$40 live LHE full thrown in there . The hit is in excess of -225BB.

This is the only time I am going to allow myself to dwell on results. After I click on the "Publish" button, those thoughts will leave my mind.

I'm even....right now.....

I think that's called a killer app: if you can truly hit publish and not think about results anymore...

Mr D Hunter

This is actually related to your previous post about winning a seat into the HORSE event (which I only just read). Firstly, well done.

Secondly, I suspect you'll have plenty more shots at a seat to the ME, so don't worry about that.

Thirdly, here's a chance for you to develop your all-round poker skills. I'm guessing you'll be branching out and trying to get you skill level up in the various HORSE events. Developing these skills must have some +EV, no?

Fourthly, how did you do it? Seriously, I've had a few shots at that freeroll now and it is a minefield. I was thinking about blogging some strategy on it (playing freerolls), but I figure someone whose had that little thing called 'success' may have a better insight.

Cheers
